Lin finagled an afternoon pass for today. First time she's been in real clothes for 3 weeks! Of course, she had the adventure all planned. First, to Northland Mall for Wonton Soup, then to a grocery store in the east end of Calgary for...
Not the sausage! She got her fav, banana. It's safely stored in the back of the car, ready to make the trek to Vernon (and Lin's stomach) on Monday! Huge thanks to Peter for driving our car back, you will be rewarded!! And also to Tracy and Liz for picking us up at the airport! 2 more sleeps!

Not surprised she would hunt out a Jeanne cake! Must say you are looking great Linda!
ReplyDeleteAn afternoon OUT! And why does wonton soup not surprise me?! LOL I don't know what Jeanne's Cake is, but must be good! And by the way, you are looking pretty darned fine Linda! Rest up for that travel home. :) sending love and a hug (nope, I haven't run out of those!)
ReplyDeleteHilarious! You found Calgary's source for Winnipeg's best cakes ever . . .and it will be eaten in B.C.!
ReplyDeleteYou've got some amazing Vernon buddies supporting that trek home. Hugs all around!
And, yes . . . . You DO look amazing, Linda! 👏👍👏
